I may very well have a newly found love for this magazine entitled Annalema. It’s a twice yearly publication of short stories, artwork, and photographs. I found this post on BOOOOOOOM earlier this week that shows several spreads of the inside of the magazine. As a perpetual right-brainer, I was instantly attracted to spread after spread of nothing but photos, and each layout is unique yet nicely uniform. At only $15 a year for both publications to boot. I’ve made it a goal for myself to read more magazines, specifically, more affordable, attractive, literary and art magazines (the best kind) and I think this fits the bill. What kind of magazines do you read? Right now I haven’t done much recreational reading and don’t expect to until next month, but for very good reason. Check out the website if you’re interested. They’ve got information about the magazine as well as options to either get an annual subscription (twice yearly) or you can buy issues separately. They also have their own blog.
